Combining different KB QB’s

Can I combine two different Kingbrite QB’s?

I’m working on two 240w boards and for the plants it would be best if i could combine one of each (one board with 660nm, the other with UV, 660 and IR, both by kingbrite) new QB on the heatsink. The drivers are the hlg-240h-48ab. The boards are parallelwired. The qb’s are both stated to run at 48v. Is this a good idea or could I maybe run into some trouble?4E1C8B8F-C23E-40F1-9C19-C029AE03B63C.jpeg

Not on the same cv driver, no. If you tried i doubt anything extremely bad would happen in the first minuites, especially on low amps but clearly the boards would draw different current loads.

2 possibilities: run the double boards close enough so that you could run the 2 same board models on the same driver but different heat sinks. So one board per heatsink is controlled by the same driver if that makes sense.

Nr 2, get cc drivers and run the boards in series, i think something like a hlg240-c2100 would fit the bill but you wouldnt completely fill out the driver capacity, maybe a bit lower light intensity.

Thanks, I run several small tents so its not ideal. And I cant make one big light like you suggested. Love the idea though.

I already have the drivers, for me its not worth to invest in new ones.

Thanks for clarifying so I can be on my way.
