Hi, i recently purchased this fertilizer hoping to use this during the flowering cycle. After i got home i realized this fertilizer is suppose to be mixed in with your soil. Immediately i tried putting less than a TSP. in a gallon of rain waiter. Im still waiting to see if this crap will disolve in the water. I was just curious if anyone has used this fertilizer, or if you CAN mix the fert with the soil directly? Again, this fertilizer is called "Colorburst flowering plant food" and is 15-30-15. any info would be really appreciated!

you indoor or out?

im outdoor and will sprinkle fert directly on soil without mixing....hasn't been bad yet... if your out when it rains your plants will get more water than they need

Use it in the garden and chalk up the money lost to a learning lesson.

*Any* time released, aka not water soluble, is NOT what you want.

If you are refering to Miracle Grow Color Burst 15-30-15, it will work just fine. I don't know as much about the "color burst" part of it. Never noticed a difference in color, but I mix it full strength( 1 tbsp/gal) and apply every third watering with no problems at all.

Always get a fert that is watersoluable and one that u can spray on leaves directly. I always use a very mild mix for leaves, miracle grow users I suggest for leave feeding about half a teaspoon all purpose plant food. 2 Main mistakes a newbie will make is over fertilizing and overwatering.
