What should the day and night temps be ?
CEA
2x Grape Ape / Sativa weirdos. ( Starting to show a little purp )
2x Cali Mist
2x Afghan ( one from a seed that was just there just 4 months ago...soldiers..bless their hearts ) The other was just some dispensary crap.
Grapes are maybe 3 to 4 weeks from harvest.
Others maybe 5 weeks..
Temps
Day mid 70s ( a few 80 ish days here and there )
Night low 70s to mid 60s
RH 50% ...decreasing RH by minus 5 % weekly and shortening light timer by 30 minutes a week..ending with 30% RH and 10 hour days.
But I heard you need to get it as low as 50 to really bring out the purple. True ?
I can't get my CEA that low...tried..60 was the minimum.
One of the Kushes looks like it may have some purple going on as well.
Day time should still be average though ?...since it's fall and days are still warm but nights are cooling off fast?
This is my first " organic grow " from the soil to the nutes / teas. Using filtered rainwater...checking PH of course.
I actually have earthworms in my bins..
I use a little blue light on the ceiling for moonlight.
I'm growing a small lime tree and a few veggies in there as well.
Buds are fattening fast now...yummy !
So is 50 the magic number ? I've seen purple before in a few of my grows but didn't realize then that it is temp related.
I want these Querkle / Grape Apes / Whatever to get as purple as the buds I've seen it produce. And as tasty...like smoking grape soda / wine or something...good smoke. ( Haven't seen the mother plant and the dispensary guy was clueless )
Also if I don't get the color...I won't get the same buzz ?
I'm real anal about what I smoke. That's why I grow my own.
