Colloidal silver anyone?

Hello,

I have some 30 ppm colloidal silver that I would like to use to produce some fem seeds.
My question is, does it need to be diluted at all or can I just straight spray it on my target branches?
I'm on day 25 of flower and would like to get started ASAP to insure mature seeds. Any info would be
MUCH appreciated!! Thanks!

Peace :peace:

That stuff works great. No you do not dilute it just spray it on, but you are to far into flower to do this you have to start treating them with CS a week or two before you start flowering:bigjoint:

I've read that you can start pretty much anytime throughout flowering. Since it takes about 4 weeks for the seed to mature,
wouldn't I still have plenty of time to spray?
Given my strain is a 9-10 week strain, and it's takes roughly 2 weeks to start producing male parts shouldn't I have just enough time to get the seeds matured?
Or does it seem to risky? Thanks for the input ROFL!

Nah man, best to start spraying just before the flip to flower and then keep spraying until you see balls. I dont think it would work now as it will still take a few weeks to even see balls and then to pollinate, your plant would be ready to pick before it even got pollinated sorry man.

I'm with you Poly, i only use clones to spray for pollen. I dunno if I'd be keen to smoke a plant sprayed with CS, dunno why, just dont think i would..
i would if we where using in the soil where the plant will and microbes and such will break it down into a form that is more viable for us to consume, if it where consumed.

and dont get me wrong ill smoke some shit on my buds, neem, mites, maybe some PGRs, but those all are either non toxic or absorbed more easily into the plant and broken down. i just dont think the plant has the culpability to absorb all that silver let alone transfer it away and into more consumable compounds.

so basically in my eyes you smoke a plant sprayed with CS you inhaling heavy metals. may as well be huffing mercury.

You could safely consume the amount of CS I would use to treat about 20 plants.
If you spray only one branch and don't smoke that branch you should be fine.

There are people who inhale colloidal silver for health reasons.

I personally do not consume any plants sprayed only because when I spray, I usually spray the entire plant. It has no buds to smoke.

Just spray it on ur lower branches sparingly the lower mature later ull have enuff time to have some ripe seeds

I'm actually interested in the medical benefits to CS as well.
Why go to the doctor for strep throat when you can spray
some silver in your mouth? Haha it's great

Thanks for all the input guys!

To the OP, did the 30ppm CS you have work? I bought some 30ppm and it didn't do anything, plants seemed to like it, not a single pistil died. I made a generator and used a couple of pieces of .925 Sterling for convenience. Seems to be working so far, shooting down all the pistils that pop up.

I'm a little puzzled. If people drink colloidal silver for health benefits, is that okay because the manner of ingestion is not by inhalation? Is the inhalation what makes "colloidal bud" harmful? Thanks.

There are different kinds of colloidal silver, the size of the molecules (?) is supposedly important.
So I would not recommend anyone consume colloidal silver in any way.

If you only sprayed one branch and did not get any residual spray on other parts, why not smoke the unsprayed parts?
Smoking the sprayed parts would be dumb anyway, they are male and only good for pollen.

I don't smoke a plant that has been sprayed because when I spray, I spray the whole plant. I don't even smoke the plants that get pollinated. I let the buds go way past ripe so the seeds get big. Over ripe buds are not even good for hash, so I toss them.
