So,
we got girls in the ground and in pots and the air temp throughout the garden varied between 41-45 till about sometime in the ams, where it dropped to 37.
BUT!!!
soil temps on the babies IN THE GROUND were in the 50s, and the ones with mulch even higher. MULCH KILLS! love it.
BUT
the plants in pots' soil temp was 42.
so the pots are in danger. today I take protective measures for them.
