20180427_080746.jpg Heres the girl in the coffee can
I only chopped off 3 branches the other day to see if my new drying setup was smell proof

IT IS NOT lol even though i basically made it air tight just the 3 little branches are paasing through 4 mill plastic lol

So i got a dedicated fan and filter coming
So hopefully they dont go too amber while waiting

Fucking blows as i was trying to have a "sealed dry room"

How would it dry anything with no air circulation?

Dehumidifier budd set @ 60 to 65 rh
Ive done it before but this time i needed a bigger drying room :)

Last time i barely fit it in my old setup

My thoughts for running more sealed was concentraition of aromas by not actually exchanging any air ;)

Basically it was supposed to be a big mason jar with a boveda haha

I'm gonna have to sub to this journal Cold:bigjoint:bongsmilieyour plants look dank AF. How do you like the Gavita? I got me the 6/750 but haven't started growing with it yet
Welcome, thanks i appreciate it. :)

So far the gavita has really impressed me.

Even when they where small clones i never moved the light the whole grow! I didnt notice too bad of streching between nodes

So i imagine if i actually raise and lower it according to the plants it would be even better.

Also im stretching it to the max though for the area. im sure better results can be had with more light.

But thats not exactly my goal . At least not now

All seeds where scuffed with 150 grit.
6 hr soak in well water 6pm on friday put into cubes at midnight.
Just checked them and i have 99% with only 1 seed left to show tail

Strains are blizzard bush, CnC, Purple badlands, and evergreen along with my shorelineog testers :)

That's legit bru I haven't grown with the light so I'm super eager. I'm only flowering with the gavita and doing veg with two small qbs. How big is your area you're growing in? I'm planning on only using 1.2m x 1.2m but the tent is 1.5m x 1.5m.

I dont want to say technically i shouldnt have shown that pic i might take it down haha
My flower room is only 7.5 x 7.5 ft

Im shit about coverting to metric lol
But just make sure you have some height if your going to run the gavita

Lmao better be safe than sorry bru!

3ft is 1m so about 2.5m x 2.5m and the light covers most of it? The highest tent I could get here was only 2m but might get a tent from Mammoth

This pic was from this morning 20180430_080904.jpg

even though its legal in my state i dont like to deliberately incriminate my self lol:)

Like i said im not following the rules of thumb on watts per square foot.. that said the light has preformed well for what i asked of it..

If only the run was fully problem free then i could have had a decent baseline for my yeild off the one light (more of a personal goal)

Edit to add plus its always a big help if your maxing out yeild to use all the same strain :)

Height and heat will be your problems

I wouldnt put anything under the gavita without at least 2 plus ft from the top of the canopy :)

Mines at about 3 plus ft and it shows leaf crinkle when i leave the fans off accidentally lol

Im sure it would bleach stuff at 2 ft over them
Its a powerful little light :)

LoL lucky I won't grow too big or high plants. My fans run 24/7 so never switch it off. Also got a new 200mm inline fan pushing quite a bit of air so hoping that works. Also just running the light at night and our winter just started. I'd be able to keep it 3 ft away, doing a 16 plant 6 strain SOG grow. Hopefully the heat isn't too bad, turned the light on the other day for the first time and made a little jizzle in my pants

do a test run for a couple days to see what your max and min temps are with your set up :)
Having the fan on all night could cool them too much . Just depends

If the tents frame design allows it
You can always build a "pony wall" to jack the tent up
I don't think I'd be able to do that brother. I really want the specific Gavita made tent from Mammoth but might get it after this grow if things don't go well. Might then switch the 5*5 tent for veg and then Gavita tent for flowering. Rather than butchering the one tent, LoLs! If it doesn't like the heat I'll turn the light down to 600w, which would suck but eh gotta do what you gotta

I get you buddy, yeah I'll just have to test and see what happens with the temps. We get colder nights now but nothing like the guys in US with snow or such.
