Cold air Intake, give me your opinion

whats up guys, just sitting here hitting the oil bell and skillet thinking about my grow. so last winter i used 4 inch ducting from outside (drilled a 4 inch hole like a dryer vent) to bring in fresh cold air in my room. well at the end of the summer i decided to upgrade the intake line to 6 inch for less drag. so currently the cold air comes in from outside cools 3 lights and goes back outside thru my actual dryer vent with a y split. the air is free of odor so i am safe exhausting it back out side but here is my question!!!!!!!!!

Would i be better off using the air to cool my lights or using it as an ac and just dumping in fresh cold air with a thermostat for emergency shut off at the temp setting of my choice( 30 bucks on ebay, kcontrols)

give me some feed back..... oh by the way i live in michigan, very cold winters :o

thanks alot for reading guys and gals.

I'd use it to cool your light. I have cold air constantly flowing into my tent from outside through a 4inch duct fan and it exhausts it back out through a 6 inch inline fan. Has worked great keeping my temps to at around 73-75
