Colas

hi i have a plant and the stem is an inch long then about 6stem grow from it. i want to no will this give me 6 colas ?

I saw the thread title, was expecting something about coke-cola, a 6-pack even!

REally though, you can train it to have 6 colas, just keep them growing at the same hieght so they all get equal light, when one gets higher bend it over to keep the canopy even.

Honestly though, youll more than likely end up with a dozen colas, LST (bending) makes most strains quite bushy.

Its an inch tall, lets just get it growing properly before you start talking colas my learned friend.

so is it a good plant to keep as it was just a cutting i took and its just growing like this on its own.... ive done the same again with one more cutting and now thats doing the same so i no i can keep doing it....?

hello buds... no the main stem is an inch tall the plant now is over 10inches tall

The stem is an inch long?
It may be a bit premature to start counting cola's.

ive got plants growin that are over 4ft and the stem is only half an inch long befo the branches start...i dont see what the lenth of the stem as got to do with it....all i no is i can take cuttings and get 6 or more stems to start from the main stem

It sounded as if your plants were only a couple inches tall from your original post.

its about topping ive not done that with my cuttings, ive just got them to grow 6tems out of one stem... no topping

Can you post a picture so I can get a feel for what the plant in question looks like?

im quite confused. i thought if you topped 1 once you would get 2 tops, then top those then you would get 4, then 8. where do you come up with 6? do you mean 6 sets of leafs before you top?? if that is what you mean, then i have heard you can top after the 2nd set, or the 4th set. i have just started some new plants. and i have one plant that is less then 2 inches tall with 5 sets of leafs already. its amazing. ive never seen anything like that before. i switched from a t8 to a High Output t5. made a world of difference. shit is looking like its going to be super dense!!

What do you mean when you say this?

all in good time, im looking for my pics from when i first started doing this...it all started from getting 2 then 3 and got it up to 6 then just had to stop playing and grow to live the high life

The way i'm reading this he is referring to each branch that develops is like a man stem, hence why the plant is only " 1" tall", cause that is where the lowest set of branches are... just a terminology barrier.

Dude no one can answer your question if you don't put it into language people can understand. The whole my stem is 1 inch thing makes no sense. Maybe an inch WIDE... that would certainly make more sense...
