is it wax paper that will allow the water through but not the trichs?

well it worked, picked up some silk material and strained the water through that, result was about a tinth of nice bubble hash,
but tbh i think Ill just buy some ice-o-lator bags, much easier

I was going to suggest using silk screen material to strain your water/trichs thru, but it looks like you've got it.

Wanna do it faster?

Use a coffee grinder. The trichs stick to the top plastic part. Use a paint brush to get the trichs into some wax paper. fold, and tape. fold into news paper tape again. get wet heat in a warm(very low heat) oven, then press. reheat, and press again. It's ready to smoke.
But I always get impatient, and just smoke the trichs after I grind it up. =}

after pressing the hash by sealing it in cellophone and walking round with it in my shoe a while it was time to smoke, and damn was it good it was pure enough to bubble so im happy with it, the french press im using now has metal rims round it its not a cheap ass 1 lol.
I also bought a kief box off ebay for £10 but it turned out to be cheap and shitty the mesh screen was terrible, the wood it was made from was ok though ( it arrived with the bottom peices broken, where the mirror tray is that collects the kief) so i replaced the screen with
some of the silk i had bought ( i got two types 1 was realy fine that i use for the bubble hash, and this other stuff wich is fine enough to let only trichs and the odd mashed pistil through) fixed it all up and its been working like a treat so far
