I started out growing 21 years ago. My first mix included a mix of peatmoss,topsoil,rocks,bonemeal,bloodmeal and a diet of miraclegrow all purpose! Yuck! 21 years later I am using Cocogro/Perlite in fabric pots with a diet that includes botanicare expert feed schedule. Come a long ways! I still use Promix BX outdoors with FoxFarms soil program. Good genetics plays a big role, but the quality of your medium is just as important. I like helping new growers find there way with all the marketing bullshit these days can be overwhelming.
