Coco or promix or both?

Depends what you're striving for.
Being a new grower I'd suggest just getting some organic potting soil and start there.

I hear the yield is better and nutes are easier in coco or promix rather than using soil where u can't flush as easy

If your new to growing I would use ProMix it's a little bit more forgiving then coco from what I hear.

I suggested a pre-mixed soil so as a new grower you would get an idea on how to grow. Nothing easier than just watering every 3-4 days.

Yes get a grasp of how the plants grow, start with soil. It is very forgiving unless you over-fertilize.

Isn't it hard too know what nutrients your plants are getting with soil

You know what you're putting in?!? Watch how the plant reacts to it... feed once a week w/ a couple of waterings in between perhaps... learn how she grow & let the plant show you if it wants more or less...
