I love my botanicare coco. 15-20% perlite. Dyna grow Grow for veg., sometimes Liquid karma and cal mag. Botanicare CNS17 for coco, Hydroplex ~week 3 and 6, 1tsp blackstrap/gal week 5-7 in addition to the CNS17. Flush week 4 and 9 with blackstrap and water.

I use tap water and never check pH.

Great growth. Great buds. I'm very happy.

Out of a 5 pack of Crit + fem., 3 are beautiful and coated in resin, 1 shows signs of N deficiency, 1 has some heavy Mag deficiency. Up until now, I've fed everything the same thing so I could learn these nutes. Mission accomplished.

I use the Dynagro Grow for the first two weeks of bloom now as well. My first run dropped a ton of leaves ~week 2 because of N deficiency.

The only time I will flush is when I fell that the roots are not letting my plants soak up enough water on my tables.. Even with longer flooding times. What I do is ph RO H2o and top water all the plants, and I will use a hose attached to the drain on table to catch all the water that comes out the pots in a bucket. For each pot I test the run-off if the PPM's are to high I flush again until I get it where I want it.. Usually I dont have flush a second time.. Now a days I go easy on the nutes and I never have to change the res water..

Regarding flushing, do you guys feed right after a flush or wait for the coco to dry out and feed as normal?. I've been growing with coco for 2 years now and loving it, very easy to work with.

I've been giving about 600-700ppm total, while my water's ppm is already 244. they don't look underfed but my CA issues were through the roof at about the beginning of week 2 of bloom. About 3-4mL per gallon of Dyna-gro bloom is what I've been giving along with Cal-Mag to reach these ppms.

I didn't think it was necessary to go over 5mL per gallon of Bloom but it might be needed it seems esp with my bigger plants that are in containers.

5.8 seems to be working great but the Cal/Mag def got serious really quick. and I still think my PPM were too low so I've been giving about 980-1050. My water's PPM has gone back down to about 180.

Hey guys just wondering if you could help me out, I just started growing in coco i switched over from dirt. I mix botanicares coco 75% with 25% promix. I use the whole line of botanicare...CNS17,pureblend,liquid karma,hydroplex,sweet,molassase. Plants are in 13 gallon pots and are about 8 feet tall from the floor so that inlcudes the pots. The buds on the plants are very spaced out and not very big at all and the main colas on top dont seem to be coming together at all.....any suggestions what it might be? room temps at night are 70 and 80 during the day...humidity fluctuates up and down from 40 to 90% and i water feed water feed......2.5 gallons every second day

You would likely get the same weight in the final yield regardless of which method you use, it's just one way produces less flowers that are bigger anddenser and the other way produces a lot more flowers but they arent as heavy or big. The main thing you want to do is at least remove all the "sucker growth" which you have now done... it's up to if you want to remove more (I probably would personally). If you do remove more, I would take it from the center of each plant... any nodes down low on the branches and close to the main stalk is what I would remove, and I also prune any small/short branches growing inward (back toward the main stock).

and to answer your question in your last post about the order of adding nutrients to your tank... Add the Micro first, before the Plant Amp... add the plant amp last! (its a weak solution of organic calcium and is a rare exception to the rule). You shouldnt adjust the pH of the nutrient solution after you have added the Plant Amp, so you need to add the Micro or Cal/mag or whatever high calcium product you are using first then add the rest of your nutes (but NOT the Plant Amp), then adjust your Ph to whatever you want it at (5.6 - 6.1), then you can add your Plant Amp last and don't re-adjust your pH again... Your pH is going to be very low (like 4-5!) from the organic acids in the plant-amp but it wont hurt your plants and once the plant absorbs the organic acids in the first 24-48 hours, then the pH in the medium will be back to normal... These types of things are the reason it is sometimes scary for people to mix brands of nutes without fully understanding what is truly in them and how they work and interact ect.

What kind of light do you have? Light getting down that low will be tough

More like how many 1000 watt lights do you have lol. Getting light that low is impossible.

Seriously thought, we need to know more about your lights. How many do you have and how far are they from the plant tops. Are you lollipopping?

there is 20 1000W bulbs on the vertical with no shades...well three of them have shades and are sitting higher up.....i try to get them in between all the plants....and i cut out a lot of the lower branches but im not sure when i should stop cutting them out...ive read that it can stress the plant if you take out too much at a time

also, the last crop i had i pulled a lb a plant....but the buds were still spaced very far apart and were very small.......any input is appreciated

Best of luck with this. Lots of variables but in all honesty I would suggest using a rich soil mix and tinker with coco slowly until you get it figured out and dialed in. Otherwise you could end up with a whole lot of hash bud and one hell of an electric bill.

With that much space and lighting you might seriously consider scrog tables. No reason for an 8' plant when you can grow a 4 x 4 blanket of buds with each 1000 that should yield you about a lb each depending on genetics. Also, if you're allowing your humidity to get as high as 90% in flower you're asking for big trouble.

Questions, are you running a lot of fans to circulate the air around the lights? Are you supplementing Co2? Are you running dehumidifiers? How are you cooling the area?

Here is my first attempt at coco. It's 50% coco + 25% Perlite + 25% vermiculite. It's a Purple Widow sprout. Been in coco for almost 2 weeks. First week after sprouting was just water. Using GH's basic 3 part..... first batch was mixed up at half the recommended strength for seedlings and I got burnt tips on my leaves. Same strength nutes now a week later and now it looks like I am starving it.
