Lookin good my bro, cant wait to see how they go with the extra light.

As for the trimming its basically up to you if you want to trim more off or not. I usually like to have most of my trimming done before flowering but as the plant continues to grow during flower some branches dont take off as well as others so I remove them. Basically if the branch is only goin to produce little light buds then I get rid of it coz they are the suckers that I dont want. If your unsure then the best thing to do is trim some and leave some so you can see the difference with your own eyes and then you will know exactly what to do in the future. You will get to know which branches you should trim during the veg stage to save yourself from trimming during flower.

Fuck im wasted so I hope that all makes sense bongsmilie
It all makes sense buddy I will be leaving it. Shes 12 days in so far. I have pulled off some of the real small looking sites like you said you do. Theres probubly a few more I should remove but Your right, the only way to really get a feel is to do it yourself and watch your results. And thank god I found YOUR results and decided to take notes. <--- that part really stepped it up a notch. So anyways thanks for all the advice throughout. :peace:

Day 22: So I just cant figure out what the problem is. It has been evident since day one flowering and slowly creeping up on the plants. They started deep green in color and it seems as though from the time I have switched the light shits been slowly declining. So yesterday im in putting in hours checking over everything and I use canna substra so I check NPK I figure maybe P is low sounds about right sure lennard thinks to himself so its like 534 total or so and Im like thats pretty low F-it go get the canna coir nute that is specific to canna coco which lenny runs. So while lenny is at the hydro store hes checking out the difference in NPK between the coir and the substra well there was but just one point so lenny thinks to himself again. Hmmm one measly friggen point eh? He then glances over at the PK13/14 and what does he see? HOLY SHIT 0/13/14... Now thats gotta fix the issue. Lenny then contemplates another thought. Hmmm Cannas website says to use substra for flood and drain systems, is the method of canna itself not flood and drain most specific? then he looks at the coco coir tag and sees "made specifically for coco" and he thinks hmmm is there a difference? Ahh fuck it, lennard takes the coco coir, pk 13/14, and a organic bug spray home for the next best thing of my life....... APHIDS Yes Lennard has aphids (as well as herpeghonnasyphilaids but thats another topic) I caught them very early I noticed the spotting about three days ago and looked and looked and looked but didnt see shit well... now I see them. Ive removed about ten.

Anyhow grows been really slow I think for twenty days in (although Its only been a week or so w/ second light). I hope these new nutes will pump this betsy back into action. As for the aphids. I sprayed up some stuff and went thru turning over about every leaf in the hut and wiping with the spray on one rag on bottom and water on the top. I will be getting ladybugs soon Im thinkin. I just dont need 1500 of them goin crazy in there

Lennard, what's up man? I've been growing in coco with AN nutes for about 16 months now. I'm kind of pissed because my hydro store suddenly switched the kind of nutes they carry. I was using the AN Monkey Juice with great success but now I'm forced to switch to the Sensi A+B. I also got their Micro instead of the Calmag. So I'll be watching to see how it goes for you. I also would really recommend Big Bud for the first half of flower. It's expensive but worth it IMO. That PK 13/14 would be best for the second half of flower. Personally I use Overdrive for the second half of flower. Have you seen this nute calendar? Advanced Nutrients - Nutrient Calculator I follow it pretty closely on "medium feeding" and it works great.

Hey MJ ... You should be happy w/ the sensi A+B it took me a few to get used to, but when stuff started getting dialed in it was easy and worked well. I looked at that chart as well. thanks for the heads up on the 13/14 the bottle says to use for the last two days or something like that but I just shoot a low dosage shot once a week probubly now. They are 31 days in so we are about on target. I do want to use big bud but am just taking it easy as this whole medium is new to me. Knock out the basics first.

OK, yea if you're at 31 days you wouldn't even need it at this point. It's definitely time for that PK 13/14. That should clear up the purpling on those fan leaf stems. It's looking good though. Some nice fat buds in there.

The temps got up to 91 for a whole week. Things have been stabilizing with the new nutes. I now have them at 82-84 lights on 69-70 lights off. Humidity is at 55-60%. I think I need to get that a little lower but not sure how to. The GDP plant covers a ton of the area on the screen. I think two FIM's might be a little much. She has a hard time holding herself up but it does spread out the canopy. Some of the pics will show how wide she is. The fan leaves of the GDP look like they've had a hard life. Along with the fact that they are speckled with purple and some light nute burn makes it look pretty terrible they are coming out wavy, not so much flat and perky.

Those pics look healthier than the last set of pics. The last ones looked like they had possible heat stress. How close are you lights? They look like they are doin better now anyway.

Im 20 inches off the light and the GDP which is doing the worst doesnt even have a direct light over the top of it. IDK man. Cant wait until my next setup. I learned a lot. You gotta trim the shit out of the plant for large nugs... basically all the way up to the top of every branch you want to keep. Maybe I should raise up the roof again? IDK ive seen 1000 watters closer and your plants are right up there too without air cooled hoods so IDK I am stuck. If the light is too low at this point does it really slow the growth of the buds? Sounds more like it would super charge it. Thanks
