Coco flush for 2 weeks?

Currently just started the flush of the girls. The run off came out at a staggering 1200ppm (cant remember what scale)

Is it my understanding you flish them soaking wet for run off every day? Get about a litre of run off a day and it should keep deopping in ppm?

The biggest worry was the overwatering of that amount, seems like alot of water. Their still damp, 24hrs later.

If its the last 2 weeks you should havd a good enough root ball to where they should take over watering. As its very hard to drown a plant in coco unless its young :)

You are going to get a lot of people who say flushing isnt necessary.

Might be true i dont care what or how you do it

As long as it burns to a fine white ash :)

Would this mean the plants are too filled with nutrients? As in toxic? Hope not! Gotta flush those girlies. Its just too dare expensive to be pushing theough nutrient feed watching it was out the bottom
Lol

Get cheaper nutes :) i dont feel bad at all dumping 50 plus gallons lol

Look at the difference between leeching and flushing.
Ha ha this is probably why i went hydro

As i used to follow the old grow bibles

And would flush with 3 times the volume of the plant pot

What a bitch that was. I hated the last 2 weeks ;)

Now i just flush it out

Im thinking of making some kind of garden just from my run off out side lol

You never did say what your feed ppm or ec where? So let me tell you my feed strength in coir. Vegging plants get 300-400 ppm ( 0.8 ec) . Flowering plants get 400-500 ppm (1.0 ec).

Sadly my flowering ppm was 1000 on the x7 scale i think, gotta double check. But i only feed every couple or 3 days. The orher days were 1/4 strength watering mix. Obviously too much :(

Well I guess that'll save some nutes then... I run my dwc at 1100 ppm full bloom. No flushes.
The more I read this the more I wonder if you could push harder with a substrate rinse every few weeks. I run seedlungs at a 1.1 ec haha

That's one reason i don't run dwc anymore. you have to run ec levels higher at first to compensate for nutrient uptake between nutrient top offs or change outs. So you go from overfeeding to underfeeding.

Nah I just go to feeding. I've not had a deficiency or toxicity bad enough to even bother googling those pictures of leaves in years. It just works

Just imagine how much more lush and green it could have been! Haha I'm giving you a hard time man. It's all so strain and medium dependant. I run dwc exclusively and mostly Nirvana strains so I know pretty well at this point how much I can push them. They are certainly way hardier than the reserva og18 I ran years back. It was getting tip burn at 700 ppm full bloom

I like to run at lower ppms as long as the plant is happy.

Plus rdwc usually has a higher uptake then others. So usually requires less nute strength .
