Yeah ... I know you or I would never kill such a awesome creature, but the only thing they fear is humans pretty much. I have falcons and or coopers hawks living in my tree line, they are massive. I was wanting some chickens this spring, now you got me thinking they might just be killed with murder by those guys. There is plenty of food out in the field but do you think they would pull a Manson on my coop? chicken wire wrapped around it of course, 4 ft out..

At the old house I cover the lot with chicken wire. Hawks get blistered with low brass target loads. They get the hint. I don't dare shoot at an eagle.

Yea our roasters do the same. Looks like there was a fight and the eagle didn't get a meal. I'm hoping he looks for easier prey.
 
I've never really been too proud to beg. About ten years ago I was pretty drug riddled and decided I wanted to get some cock pills since I didn't think I had the rigidity that I had once had as a younger man.
