Hello, im setting up a 3X3 tent. I know I want to go with Vero 29's since im in Canada and, everything costs more than im able to spend right now. atleast it seems that way.

I am thinking of going with .
2 X Vero 29 @ 5000K for Veg. BXRC-50E10K0-L-24
6 X Vero 29 @ 2700k for Flower. BXRC-27E10K0-L-23

Im also seeing a lot of people just going with 3500K for everything. is there any advantage to this?

Im not really sure what drivers to go with, suggestions would be great. I tried to make sense out of the cob and driver compatibility thread but I cant seem to get it, its been a long day. Im thinking of giving around 50 watts per COB.
if there are better options out there im open to ideas. However I would like to keep the cost per COB as close to $40.00 Canadian as I can.

thanks in advance.

3500k is the spectrum du jour but by no means the be-all (at least not definitively).
Your plan sounds good although I would research a few 2700k only grows if you havent already.

If you are wiring in series (recommended but not compulsory), you add up the voltage of your chips and find a driver that can handle the voltage required by the entire string.

Cheers!

You wanna use all your cobs for flower, so if that means you plan on using only 2 5ks for veg and the the 6 3k's for flower, I'd reccomend still using the other 2-5k for flower as well. But this might be something for you to think about when you build your light. A good reason to use 3500ks for all.

I see 3500K as a compromise. Not perfect for either stage of growth, but adequate for both.

I only run 1 light, and it's 3500. It just gets turned up and down for intensity.
