COB Seedling Distance

Hello my friends! I’m new with my diy 200W Citizen 1212 3000K 90cri! Popped and sprout 4 different strains so well and I have so many questions about Light distance. I’ve read a Lot here about PPFD, Lux, I made a conversion with iphone app and I have 150PPFD so far at 18” dimmed to 100W. Distance between cobs are 16”

It’s ok? I watched a Sweet Pure CBD strain a little Yellowing, maybe slow growth to because have 15 days from sprout and she’s small I think:

Had the light at 12” for a week I think previous up to 18” maybe a calmag def? I ordered calmag but will have in about a week or more (I cant get Here epsom salts or mag).

So my questions are: its ok the distance 18” or I have to down or up?

She was under light Stress or maybe hot Soil? (I’m using a great soil company here in Colombia, used before without problems).

This is my 2x2 tent:

2x Black Kush 98 - 3 days sprout:

Cream Caramel 8 days sprout:

Next week will add 4 Luxeon Sunplus Royal Blue for supplemental blue.

Any advice will be appreciate, thanks in advance. (Sorry for my bad English)

Hey bud, I think they are getting alot of nitrogen. doubt your low on calmag. Let them dry out, and water just as wide as the leaf width. just probably like 1/4 cup of water, no more. At seedling stage, they dont like alot of water, because they are trying to grow roots, and when they are constantly wet, it rots the tiny roots, and slows them down. SO, the most important thing right now, is let them dry out.

as far as light, aim for 13,000 lux. Your conversion is 67 (3000K-90cri)

See no problems with your English, good job man,

These are Cherry Wine CBD, After germ in paper towel, I move to solo, and wet down pretty good, and cover with plastic wrap. When they come thru the soil, i take the plastic off and low light, like 50 par because i like the stretch at this stage, because when they get transplanted, i like to bury up to 1 inch of the first leafs and the stretched stem has hairs on it, that form roots, so i like that stretch alot before the transplant. I start my veg day when first real node lifts off the seed leafs. In my case, it took 3 days from the time they broke soil, till they had liftoff. SO, right now, im on day 14, or 17 from soil breaking. I have already topped them, and they have been 12/12 since seed.

Thanks bro! will do that! Let dry and only water! I Think i did a mistake addind Mammoth P yo soil. But I already change the soil to new one.

So, 16” is good? Or I have to down a little? With Lux iPhone app I got 9500ish Lux.

I have 20/4 light shedule.

Yeah man, that should be ok. Its better to have a little less light, then to much. A seedling gets used to the light it can take, so if you baby it from the start, it will need to be babied thru its life. So let it heal up, and each week, add 3000 lux to her.

How long you plant to veg?

You need to find you MAX, right NOW. So, turn your light all the way up, and measure the lux at 16inches. ( 16 inches because your cob distance from eachother, because falloff occurs less then 16 inches)

Now, once you have that max, your VEG SHOULDNT exceed HALF your max lux.. That make sense?

no bro, Get out paper, turn light to max. measure your lux at 16 inches. THAT number, is your max lux that you need at 3/4 thru flower.

I would do just 2 plants in that area, veg for 3 week, scrog it, then flip. Max, would be 4 plants, and 1 week veg, then flip.

5 plants with 1.5 month veg=sure failure, you dont have the room, or the light.

So lets take just 2 plants as example, ok..

Say its a 9 week flowering strain, 3 week veg.

My max, at 200 watts, with my cobs, is 37000 lux, or 570 PAR, which is good.

so, thru the veg period, i cant exceed 18,500 lux, or 285 PAR.

Reason is, when you get to the near end of flower, i should be at 570 PAR to finish her up, because a plant can only take so much light, and u want to finish with double before flip, or 285 PARish.

So, veg for 3 weeks,
Week1=6,200lux (95PPMs Nutes for this week )
week2=12,400lux (190PPM for this week )
week3=18,600lux (286PPM for this week)
Flower weeks (10 weeks)
Week4=18,800lux (289PPM for this week)
week5=22,000lux (338 PPM for this week)
week6=24,000lux (369 PPM for this week)
week7=26,000lux (400 PPM for this week )
week8=28,000lux (430 PPM for this week )
week9=30,000lux ( 461PPM for this week)
week10=32,000 lux (492 PPM for this week)
week11=34,000lux ( 523 PPM for this week)
week12=36,000lux ( 553 PPM for this week )
week13=30,000lux ( No Nutes, flush PH water, Till PPM is whats going in, 1 week, strip fan leaves 5 days before chop )

also, keep in mind, Nute PPM are relative to Watts.

So last week before flush, you should be only using around 570 PPMs for your final week. = PAR=PPMs for those weeks.

because a 200 watts plant, doesnt need 1000PPM or nutes, because it cant use it,

alot might be like, WTF, your wrong, but I dont think so. lol.

Do you have Calcium added in the soil ?
If not , just add Calcium and Magnesium ( Epsom salt ) to your soil by mixing and shaking it in a bottle with water and give that water to the soil.
See what happens. I really think this is an Cal Mag issue since the slow grow.
If that´s the case it will get worse like brown burned leafs which begin in the middle of the leaf.
The ledlight is intense so they really need enough Cal and Mag or they simple stop growing.

Man, you know, if you can buy 1, get one. I use the Dr.Meter, lx1330B model, $33 from the Zon, well worth the money.

also, a PPM meter, like $10, and PH meter if you want, always good to have also, $20.

You need to know what your Soil PPM is,

Like the above, nederwierie says, calmag, or at least mag, or epsom. I dont use nutes right now, first few weeks, because my Soil, Cocoloco is so hot already, so im good for a few weeks but alway epson or calmag needs it.

I ordered from Amazon, here i cant find anywhere. So have to wait about a week or little more.

Epsom salts here is impossible to find.

I don´t know if you can get some sort of this in your area
https://www.pokon.nl/producten/item/kalk-5kg/
or a simular sort of . This trade even has Mag added to it .
When you take 25 grams of this and you shake it in a 1 liter bottle filled with water for 5 minutes you created an Calcium doses which you can give directly to the soil.
Calcium is needed to transfer P and K , you can have all of them in your soil but without Calcium they simple have difficults with transfering.
With intense leds the Calcium gets sucked out of the soil like candy .

That sucks because what i can see on the pictures is that they are crying out loud for a Calcium dose.
If i was you i would search the internet on your area on ´ chalk ´ for agro use , or at least wait on the Cal-Mag you ordered from the Sun and i´m almost 4 sure you will get suprised what a boost of grow it will give to your plants.
