Cob Diy Light Build Amazon! Help Needed!

Okay, so after going through tons of research and looking at tons of different light companies that make cob/led lights, I decided to see if someone can help me put together a parts list of all that I need to build a 6 + cob flowering light for a 2ftx6ft space. I am looking to only order all the parts and materials on Amazon or Local Hardware store. If someone could help me out I would really much appreciate it. I'm looking to spend at least $1000

Get your self 14-2 sjo cord a couple 4 square boxes wire nuts are the cobs mogul or Edison base you will need the parts for that if you wanted to get real nice you could order some sky ties

can you read a schematic? i literally just posted in the LED section how to ballast 400w worth of LED for under 20$ that doesnt include the lights, heatsinks, and fans, but yea i get the feeling that you're about to buy like 12 LED drivers.

the ones made to fit into a light socket yea. i just figured he was going for epistar, cree, or idk what else but ya know, the chip ones that are 100leds crammed onto a plate

Yes, I'm looking at using the cree chip cobs.

do you have any electrical experience? can you read a wiring schematic?

thats using 30-36v epistar chips but if you find some 100w cree chips you like, they can be implemented into being run off only a bridge rectifier and an AC capacitor with a safety fuse for lightning strikes and such

I have little electrical experience and would feel really unsure about wiring that much stuff up. I would rather buy a MeanWell ballast.

Dude your Chinese cob light is unreliable and will not last.

Just buy 2 of these if you got a Grand to spend bro. They come pre wired if you're worried about doing it yourself. You'd just need to build a frame. That's it.

if you dont overheat them or overpower them then theyll last perfectly fine.

Hell yeah dude here is mine
36 x10watt cob smd warm white chips. Driven with a 12v 360w led driver 18 inch long aluminum square stock about by 15 inches with 4 artic f9 pc fans for cooling. 18$ for driver 35$ for the leds 8$ for the thermal adhesive 17$ for the alum sq stock 5 bucks for hardware and other bits and pieces around the house. This is for my 2x2x4 83$

That's sick bro! Thats exactly the direction I'm going! I've found decent sized heatsinks, meanwell drivers, fans high quality everything except the cobs on amazon! I want 8 cxb 3590's with 2 meanwell drivers for the flower room!!

Those amd some nice whites would be dope too. Id say go for it! Make its own switch too to customize your light the way you want it

Thanks man i got all that shyt off amazon. And the alum from menards. I also built an amazon veg light with the 5630 led strips 240 diodes per panel. 180watt 12v led driver 6061 Aluminum .064 alum panel. And other stuff. Spent 65 bucks! maxes out at 155 watts dims to 26 watts lol reminds me of a sunboard lol

Damn half my price with more coverage and the same wattage! I thought about putting i HO diode strip in each Corner of my Grow cab. I want to par test my prototypes... I went with cobs for the penetration. For coverage I would double the quantity but the price really climbs.
