Not that spectrum but that size and single LED. I snapped SS for pic. Mau5 popped red in for his Mars conversion, have to go back and watch and see what ones he used, but I think youre right on not the deep red
Yeah I think it's far red. something 720-750? some have uv and others as well.

I have been thinking cobs that can swap into air cooled ducting, pin heat sinks mounted on aluminum angles and then skin it in foam insulation.
Thats a bad ass setup. Have you seen ChilLED grow (think thats the channel) on youtube, GrowMau5 has a vid showing one of his ideas thats encloses and water cooled and also has ducting. Some really insane amazing stuff. As im trying to fall asleep now I have ideas tumbling around in my head. I have a ton of bigger PC fans really good ones, snd was thinking of using sheet metal to box it out and have a wind tunnel effect with a baffel and an exit. Well see what damage I can do at harware store tomorrow.

Good luck.

ChilLED was some inspiration, anything that handles temps better. I don't like water and electricity together, but an aluminum beam full of water would make a very cost effective heat sink if its welded shut with some water cooling inlets.

Im ordering kit mon, to see how bright they actually are. That will determine how nuts I go with design. The only downside im worried about is yield, from what Im used to at 4-6oz dry a plant. Granted I have had heat issues too which led to some fluffier bud on first two hauls. Last run of holygrail was less but way denser and better quality. So its all a balancing act and learning curve, here I go tossing COB's in to make it worse.:bigjoint:

I have always gone for top shelf bud as I only grow for myself. I would rather have 3 zips of the best bud than 1/2 lb of mid level. Some breeders are going for yield only. Taste and type of effect are what I look for. It is nice to have different strains for what ails you though.

These were last 2. The ones un trimmes was most recent and was very delicious and worked well for my anxiety. Smell too was silly good

Made some fem seeds and hope they are as good as the mom was.
I started with one free bean of samsaras HG69, super good mom stood up to my first grow mistakes and heat and cold etc was able to run 8 more of her clones. You use collodial silver for the fem? I bought some to try maybe but never got around

I tried cs but didn't take. Tricia's ?sp Mist worked.
edit

Tiresias Mist® is a new product from Dr. T’s Remedies. This product, used in conjunction with the directions, allows growers to produce feminized seeds. Tiresias Mist® is safe, effective, and a reliable alternative to other methods that have disappointing results. One bottle provides enough solution for one branch that will produce female pollen. That pollen is then delivered to the flowers of a dioecious plant which in turn produces seeds. Because only female genetics is involved you will produce only feminized seeds.
