CO2 in a tent

So... I'm thinking about getting some CO2 for the flowering phase of my plants. I have really good ventilation in my tent, and was thinking the best way of administrating the CO2 to my plants.
My plan is to get CO2 tabs, that you put in water, and it releases the CO2 for some hours. the problem is, that my ventilation is rather strong, and it will suck 'n blow away the co2 from the room the tent is in.

If I put the CO2 tabs in my tent, right after the lights go on, and turn off the ventilation for an hour, will the plants be able to use the CO2 they need? If it works, how often should I do this?

If your venting you can't really benefit from supplemental co2.

Even if you did do your one hour a day every day you might see one twelfth of the 25 - 30 % yield boost. So all that work for what might be 2 - 2.5% increase.

You can buy timers that will go on and off at whatever time that you want. They are often called recycle timers and will control your fans and ventilation equipment so that you don;t exhaust all of your good CO2.

He dropping tabs though.

A timed co2 rig would require a tank and the ability to cool the light independently of venting the tent. In that case you use an environmental controller and a fuzzy logic co2 controller. When tent it hot it stops co2 and starts venting. When cooled down it stops venting and enables co2 controller. If tent heats up fast youll blow a lot of co2 fast.

Hmm thanks for the replies. I think I'm just gonna skip the tabs and invest in proper CO2 gear for my next grow :) I don't have a spare grand at the moment for the fuzzy controller + a bottle of CO2 + everything else needed.
