CO2 Burn?

I'm doing my very first run in a sealed room. I don't have a CO2 sensor and I'm dispersing the CO2 with an oscillating fan. The plants that get the most love from the oscillating fan are blowing up, but the new growth leaves are starting to yellow. I think they might be getting CO2 "burn" because I'm using the fan instead of hanging tubing from the ceiling. Thoughts? I just threw them into flower and right now I'm giving them 2.5 cf/hr for 30 minutes four times a day when the lights are on. The room is 10x16x8, but the grow area is currently 10x5x8...

wont burn ya but it will kill ya. Anything over 2100ppm is toxic to plants go 7500-10000 ppms you'll kill your self and anybody else around the concentrated area. Get a meter best way you can pick up half way decent one's on ebay for 100$+.

I have never heard of co2 burn. Is this only happening on the plants closest to the fan?
Yeah, only on the plants closest to the fan. I also never heard of it before until one of the workers at the local grow store said he gets "CO2 burn" on his plants, but doesn't care because the plants still blow up.

I've been procrastinating buying a meter because I've already sunk 5K into this new room, but it sounds like I better get a sensor before I do me or my plants harm.

It could possibly be 'wind burn' if its super dry air being blown on the plants. I've done this once when i first started out thinking dryer was better no matter what >_<

anything over 1500 ppm will start to turn plants light lime green then yellow in a very short time! It will kill everything sooner or later if not corrected. anything in the 500-600 ppm for veg and 1100 -1500 for flower are the max's. get a meter if possible or do the math for the size of your room then use your regulator and hose on the ceiling to enrich as needed. good luck without the meter!!!!!!!
