CO2 Boost results

Finally brough the CO2 analyzer home (fluke 975 airmeter)...measured CO2 boost that has been running for about a month...with the end of the hose right up to the meter I got a maximum reading of 1250 ppm CO2...left the machine in for grow room for awhile sitting near bottom of plant about a foot and a 1/2 from end of tube that is stuck in top of plant-measure only about 670 ppm CO2, which is about what is in my house...I figure to get good results from this bucket setup you have to have any odor control exhaust fan turned off when bucket/pump is running, and have the hose directly on the plant...I don't think it really will build-up CO2 in the whole room but I will try it out tomorrow. It is tough for me to leave exhaust fan off as too much heat accumulates in room. Conclusion, my first grow...plant produced well for bagseed...not really sure if CO2 boost really helped that much, and don't know if I would buy again for $150. I am going to keep using it up until 3 months is up for vegging plants then move to flowering room again.:-P

Those were the readings from a brand new CO/CO2 analyzer bud...but like I said the pump hose was held right next to the sensor to get 1250 ppm...I kind of agree with you thought I don't think the CO2 actually getting to the plant is significant enough to make a difference in your grow because it is majorly diluted by other factors. As I said ambient CO2 readings a foot away from end of hose. I tried because I didn't really want to get a bottle setup for a couple plants...maybe if i was going for a bigger grow sometime. Just sharing information though.

And after checking the plants and building up that amount of Co2 then opening your door to leave (exchanging air even if your room is sealed) whats the ppm at then? ;-)

As soon as you open your door all your hard work breathing leaves with you.

I love hearing about sealed rooms lol. Your room isn't a sealed room if you can go in it (think about it ;-))
