Co-Co Coir, inside 3 gal. "Smart Pots" - Which nutrient line?

Hello everyone,

I need help deciding on which nutes to use on my upcoming grow. I've had 3 grows..

1st = FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil
2nd = Second was DWC hydro
and now for my third. It will be Co-Co Coir....

I'll be using 25% perlite with it, and am wondering which Nutrient line (it could be a mixture of course), Does anybody have a favorite nutrient line that they could recommend? I've used FoxFarm through my first 2 grows and want to try something different this time.

I'll be growing in a tent, using a 600watt MH. It's a 6" cool-tube with additional wings, 5 different strains.
(Blue Dream, Blue Cheese, Sweet Tooth, White Widow, and AK-49).

I hear Advanced Nutrients leave behind lots of salts, but I've heard nothing but good things about General Hydroponics. Then, there's the Canna line, I've seen this being used in quite a few grows a round the forum.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations given!!

I am a CNS17 user myself--hard to beat and simple simple!! But with which ever, if your getting a runoff of about 15-20%, that should take car of any salts you'd be concerned about. OR, as I am doing this run, .4ml of DripClean per gal and that takes care of the salts too--albeit kind pricey. CNS17 are as cheap as you can go and they're a one part base nute: really has everything you need. I've been experimenting with Pro-Tekt(silica) as I 've read a lot of positive things about it...almost a MUST USE with all nutes...once you learn what it does. <p> WHY?? the perlite??? It's real hard to over-water coco coir, almost impossible....you surely don't want it getting even remotely dry once the roots are established. I used it on my first run and only about 10-15% and really regretted it, out there at all hours of the night watering, again.....but I was still doing it by hand. Great luck to you. Once you get the hang of it, it the easiest way to run....and best, imo, bar none. peace, gman edit: OOOOpppPpsssssss...thought it was the OP that had been using cns17?
