Is it the cmh or the cdm lamp. If it's the Phillips cdm then I THINK (may not be correct) you have to use a square wave ballast. I have my eye on these lights. Here's a couple links.

I have tried to get in contact with the chap from Advanced Tech Lighting before to inquire about shipping to Europe.. Will try again on a Skype line but I have got a feeling with a big heavy ballast, it is not going to cheap + import duty tax unless he sends as a gift on Paypal. Anyone know of any European suppliers for these 315w CMH bulb ballasts. Is their an advantage to the new 315 CDM bulbs by Phillips compared to the ones for sale on ATL?

Hey guys thank you very much.
Thats why I love Riu!!!!! Best people around and always sharing the helpful information.
@InTheSystem see? I knew the people will help us bro.
I hope we can figure out the rest soon and get you started with the new light.
As far as I understand the cdm mastercolor evolution is the newest replacement for the older bulbs.
longer lifespan better lightoutputs after halflife etc.
Now you need an adaptor for the bulb as well as something to get away with low or no tax
Riu is simply the best community
I love riu
Peace
Edit
I think blue brother is right about the squarewave thing.
I would love to see the info on riu bro.
I am not a icmag guy at all.
seems like lots of arrogant schmocks down there (not all).
they have good info there no doubt.
but simply not my kind of people most of the time.
and the man behind it -gypsy- also absolutly not my kind of guy at all thats why I dont like to give them extra traffic.
btw the only reason why they got huge is because overgrow went down.
but who knows we maybe just check the threads for some information.
