i have a closet about 6 feet tall. and about 2 feet in depth and about 2 1/2 feet in width,
i want to go hps but im not sure what the best light setup would be? how many watts should i do, 1000w hps is probably to much for such a small are in width right? seeing how its a kiddie cornered closet

any opinions? i want to get this setup immediately. so any ideas will be great

I would go w/400W air-cooled HPS,an 8" exhaust fan comin off the light, and a smaller, 6" fan high up fer as secondary exhaust, as well as an intake fan fer circulation, and a Co2 set up. Wait, that IS wat I have! Trust me, you will love it, check out my bagseed grow!

You'll have 30 cubic feet of space and a foot print of 5 square feet? Any more than 400W and you'll probably just be building a large Easy-Bake oven. And with 400w you'll have to set up a good ventilation system.

ok also this closet is kiddie cornered in a room, and it is kiddie cornered toward my living room, so as of right now im not sure what to do for an exhaust because of the area the closet is in

Sounds like just about the same amount of space as I got. First grow with a switchable MH/HPS combo 400 Watter. Cheap hood but spreads the light well. I dont think you would need any stronger than that. Now I dont have all the fancy light coolers but it is well ventilated and gets fresh air from outside to boot. 400 be just what the doctor ordered for you.
