Hello All,
Just signed up and I've been growing for just over a month now.
I started out on June 29th with God Bud x Hashplant seeds in coco peat. I was told the plants need zero nutes until the small round leaves shrivel up. Coco peat needs to be explained to beginners: Unless its pre soaked, and I mean soaked, its not going to hold enough water. So, I made the mistake of under watering and lost 4 of 5 wee seedlings...
Then I found out they where too dry so I put the one I had left in a potting soil and put a dome over it for humidity.
I also started 5 Hindu Kush seeds in a little seedling starter kit I bought at Home Hardware for like 5 bucks.
Also, I brought the seedlings in from the balcony at night and put them on top of my stereo for warmth.
Once I saw some little roots poking out of the seedling pucks I transplanted them in potting soil. Including the solider GBxHP seedling.
July 9th and everything is looking good!

I decided to build my closet grow room. I have 2ft deep x 3ft wide. 5.5ft tall. 600w hps, an awesome fan for the filter, and a regular percolating fan. I want the flower room to house 4 mature plants. I am going to be building a veg room on top same dimensions but only 2.5 ft tall. Enough hight for a mother, some clones, and some seedlings? Lights in the veg room will be 4 2foot 24w sunblaze T5 lights. I'll also have a small hole for air and a regular peculating fan. A rough sketch. Keep in mind the flower room is already done, its the vegging room I have yet to tackle.
Moving foreword with the growroom, its all set up! Heres some pics. Its a plastic door with a zipper, white on the inside and black on the outside.
Temp is 28.5C at the canopy and 24C at the soil RH% is 51. The light is about 1.5ft from the canopy, and that black tray covering part of the air intake is because it's a bit too windy there for the youngins and it helps to slow it down a bit.
I got a fly trap set up. It's only caught 2, it seems as though the little fruit fly looking things like walking around on the soil. There's not a lot of them though so I'm not too worried.
Heres my little dome where I'm starting 2 feminized Strawberry Cough and 2 feminized Arjan's Haze #3. It's got 2 2ft 24w sunblaze T5s taped to the top. That will change when I build the new room.
One of the Strawberry Coughs is looking for light!
Ok, now here's the rest of them August 13th (week 4 for HK and week 5 for GBxHP) Hope we'll get some girls!
