Closet as Drying room???

Ok I have a 4x4x6.5 tent I was planning to use to dry my Outdoor Herb when the season is finish but I just realized that the tent might be to small. I have a nice size closet that I would like to use. The only problem I see is how can I control smell with the door closed I cant have the Carbon Filter in the closet with the buds cause it would be just blowing the air right back in the same room so it would defeat the purpose and I cant have the ducting run out the closet without cutting a 6" hole in the door and that's not a option and I cant leave the closet door open cause the smell would just rush out everywhere so let me know guys I need help. I would really like to use the closet instead of tent because I have plenty of racks and things I could use to hang buds on and its just so much more room to work with. Last words-I cant have NO smell

the most important thing is to reduce the light the temp and keep the humity around 50% ........45 to 65% is the range

as for that rack it rocks this time around i plan clip the branches and use it to lay down layers (the way u see it is just 2 stacks low near vent in point since i had them on mason lines )
