will a 1k watt be too much? i also could vent in with 188 cfm and vent out with 400 cfm

i did the math its 65 cf or so

will this work?

pretty much overkill for a size like that, a 600W cover 4x4 and a 400W cover 3x3 roughly, so I would atleast consider a cool tube/hood on that 1000W if you absolutely have to stick it in there

Well I can build a room then unless I make a cool tube will 400 cfm in line cool it efficiently?

In 5 years of being on this site have you actually read anything?

If you'd been reading you would know how to keep it cool.

IMO though a 1000w to cover a 3.8ftx2.6ft floor space is overkill.

Its doable but overkill.

I use a 400w in a walk in closet that measures 3.2ftx7ftx8ft. I use around a 3x3 footprint and yield 350-500g.

If you use a 1000w you only have 6'11" of head room. So you can't grow 5ft tall plants because you won't have room for a filter and ducting along with air cooled hood.

I think you will struggle to even pull 700g from that space with a 1000w. Maybe you could pull 500g or more using a 600w.


May I ask why you want a 1000w in there?

Yes and the answer JMon is it's the only light I got other than a 225 w cfl/Mh veg setup and I don't have funds to get another setup I got two fans a 1k setup and a closet as it stands
