Are you slicing the cutting up the stem a good inch and cake rooting gel/powder on it? I'm new to cloning but I've been successful cloning three strains my friend couldn't. About the only thing different I did then him was slice the stem up the middle a good inch, I used Clonex he used Olivias, I used light warrior soil he uses cubes, I used FF big bloom and Route 66 to both spray leaves and water soil. Other then those things I can't think of much. We both use basic trays with domes and spray to keep RH 90% or so, both of us us T5 lights. We both take cuttings from bottom. The strains were Le Fruit Defendu, White Queen and a unknown. Maybe try to cut softer stem/branched cuttings. I guess I will eventually come across a fussy strain. btw, what strain are you trying to clone?

the church.. i dont have any prob with one pheno... its the faster fininshing one... the other one that is smaller and nocks you on your ass i cant clone... iv tried your ideas. iv tried giving the mother a shoot of b1 3 days before i cut also. iv tried the bubblers ive tried taking them at the 5th 6th 7th nods. i tried heat humidity. iv tried cloning on the plant cuting the plant but not off putting the gel on and wrapping the cut area peat and cloth. nothing is working.... like i said i get one or 2. out of 100. or more. i do other plants and dont lose any at all. in fact i lost 6 last yr out of 100. not that pheno tho

try creating a callus on the stems that are soon to be cuttings, around 5 days before. Bending, twisting. or and sort of girdling could work. Let the callus form and heal (what you see when you supercrop) then cut below it and stick your cutting.

you can also shave the bottom 1" inch of the clones.. I just took 3 clones about 2 hours ago.. one clone I cut at 45* and put into plain tap water inside cup... 2nd one I made a 1" very light shave down one side and a deeper paper thin shave down the opposite side....3rd one got a single 1" paper thin shave.....all 3 clones are in the same cup under fluoros... post pics in 10 min.... i cant wait to see which one roots first and how strong of a root tip..

well I tried taking a picture of what I shaved off but its too small... all these are white widow clones... all taken at completely different times over the last 2 weeks.. Theyre 3-5 clones per cup.. and 15 cups plus 2 rooted and already in dirt/cups... i had like 5 cups already removed from closet right before I took this pic..
