is it true that if you have a male you can top out the plant clone it and grow a female??

Is this a serious question?
Gender is decided when a seed forms...so as soon as you plant it you are getting either a male or a female, or a hermie with both parts...but you can not turn a male into a female, although you can make a female plant have male parts pretty easily. But no...
A male is a male is a male.

it is true that you can take a male and cut the whole thing off leaving just a stalk, and then carefully graft a female clone to the existing male stalk/roots...
But that is the only way to make a male a female.

Think about it. A clone is a exact replica of the plant it came off of.

ok this is something I did try last year... I figured what the hell should work.. I need better grafting style before I do it again...shim died
