cloning without misting,

so i just cloned my bagseed grow, put cuttings into PC box i got... anyways, i don't have a way to mist... At first i thought maybe i could take a bunch of water in my mouth and go SPPPPPPPPPPPHHhH on the plants like a whale breaching....

....not really... v_v

..anyways, i DO have a humidifier i made some tubing like shit and led it into the PC box it dumps into the bottom of the PC case through a vent with the humidity dome OVER the vent (with the plants in the dome)... so this thang is really really foggy...

is there such things as too much humidity?

that was funny... I imagine you doing this and it pleases me! I haven't taken any clones @ all yet... So I have no idea.

heh, yeah... after i posted it i was like man i hope they don't take me serious about the whale... but it is good imagery... and i guess that if it came down to keeping them alive i would try... like CPR on a plant, instead of air blow water.. ha

...anyway.. :spew:

they seem to be doing good like this, i turn the humidifier on high every hour or so for only a few minutes, fills up the pc case fast. i've been taking the dome off every 4 hours. hope they root fast!

keeping a 90% humidity should be good for plenty of moisture to be taken through leaves in which shouldnt require any misting..

although u can buy a cheap to high quality mister for 1$-6$ from wal mart

I use a spray bottle manually twice a day but I'm running a d8y bubble cloner. Humidity should only cause problems over long term I'd 5honk

misting is very important to the new cuttings .its what they need to survive .i use root riot blocks 24 with clonex kit of eBay £13 it has a special formula in there also for spraying the fresh took cuttings just place this in a spray bottle as instructions .once there in heated propagator give a misting once a day ,i tend to spray the leaves just a little at first ,but i also pick up each cutting in its block & spray underneath & all round more making sure its pretty damp .not drenched ? you will start seeing roots come through the blocks 14-15 days.
