Cloning Question

What kind of light do clones need? I about to take cuttings from my mothers, but I only have 1 room. Can the cuttings go under my 400w hps with the mothers on a 12/12 light schedule or is that too much for them?

i hope you mean to say 18/6 light cycle. clones root best under low light so if you can raise the light up way high then you should be good to go.

Are you taking clones from a flowering mother? You probably shouldn't do that as all the plants could end up stressed and/or hermie.

Clones don't need alot of light because you are trying to get them to take root not create more leaves. Personaly I would get some floro's or cfl's to clone with.

From my experience you can take some clones from them just a few weeks in and revert them back to Veg, but its not the ideal situation. Taking clones from vegging plants and making a small clone chamber is the way to go
