CLONING new plants

i read up on cloning and i know how to do it, but i'm new so im tryna get a more specific answer.

i started to germinate the seeds, so it's just coming out of the seed right now.

i'm planning to sort of grow it guerrilla style. once it roots out the seed, ill plant it in rockwool till it's about 2-3 inches tall. this is when I am planning to grow it behind my backyard and let the weather do its own thing (im trying to be money efficient).

i'm not trying to bud this plant, just merely trying to clone. so i was thinking that to have the plant not obvious, i would have to continuously keep cutting the highest node down every few days just to prevent it from maturing (or will it still mature?). i was planning on keeping it at less than 30 CM in height so that it would look like any other regular plant in my backyard.

my question is when and where do i cut to clone? i'm guessing that you could be able to get cutlings after the first node/"branch" comes out but yeah..i'm sort of skeptical.

the biggest flaw in your plan is this..... what happens if your plant ends up being a male??

to answer your question your best bet would be to top and supercrop.... itll keep height down... but you can only control height so much.. but if you are constantly removing clones and it has to grow new shoots and has stunted growth from the clone taking supercropping and topping it should stay pretty low... you can always tie down branches as need too... hell you could just LST the plant to the ground... just start coiling it around itself... thats an idea too...

imho i would start a few seeds... maybe 10... once they are going take clones from them and root the clones... make sure you mark them so you know what plant they came from... once the clones are rooted put them into 12/12 and let them show their sex... this way you know what plants are males/females... and you only need a floro or 2 to acheive this... its efficient and will save you time in case your seedling is a male...

good luck

i was thinking of that too..and you're pretty much right about what could happen.

do you know how high my mother plants have to be before I can clone it? maybe as soon as it branches off I can clone it? any visual diagrams would help

4 nodes minimum. And wait for the plant to show maturity. The branches will start tho grow staggered on the stem instead of straight across from each other like they do on young plants.

You can not sex them until then really and this way you have clones ready to go and grow once rooted.
