So this is my first grow. Things are going well. I used BC Bud Blueberry regular seeds. Sexing was no problem. I got a lot of heterogeneity in the characteristics of female plants that grew out...one in particular I want to clone. It is squat, it flowered first and seemed to deal well with the stress that a newbie could throw at a plant. In doing my research it turns out that cloning during the flowering phase is hard and fraught with failure.
Fine...I do my research. The balance between auxins and cytokinins drive the growth of the meristem, the structure responsible for axillary sprouting, the structury we try to target during cloning...couldn't the right balance between auxins and cytokinins more efficiently convert a flowering plant into vegetative growth and rescue the female I have?
Any advice? I hear Clonex is good stuff. Could I supplement with auxin or cytokinin (or both) at a specific concentration. Maybe?
Oh ya, before I get slammed - ~400W CFL, generally sticking to FoxFarm nutrients, soil.
