Cloning help and suggestions needed

hello, ive jjust struggled through ph problems and over nuting and in a week im planning to clone straight to soil.(i have read through the grow faqs already)

anybody with previous experiences please offer ur advice.

-where to cut?(ive fimmed a few weeks ago)which picture?
-do i need to have a humidity dome? even if i could spray it constantly.
-trimming extra leaves off?(which ones?)
im planning to scarify. :weed:

-watering? because im foilar spraying + nuting cycles?(should i treat it as a seedling with new soil n nute after 3 weeks?)

i apologize if im straiight to the point and seem a little un appreciative but im just sleepy at the moment +++++++rep to advice useful and not repeated

- cut the lowest branches of the main stem if possible, looks like picture 4 & 5 for you
- humidity dome is not necessary, but recommended. there are several ways to do this though, clear cups, plastic wrap, baggies, etc...
- trim the lower sets that may get too close to your soil, and cut bigger leaves in about half to reduce transpiration until the cutting develops roots
- yes, treat it as a seedling, wait until the plant shows strong newer growth before adding nutes.

hey i just wanted to clarify that 4 & 5 are NOT the lowest branches. here are some more pics showing the even lower branches. i apologize for being sloppy

also, ive heard something about cutting the top to let the sides catch up evenly(although i think thats just for straight flowering, not for mother plants)

4th pic shows the lower branch and also showing previous 4 & 5 on the top

6th pic shows the dicote at the very bottom

7th pic shows 1st & 2nd branch (for sure i know not to clone that part yet)

k i think itll be easier to read if i split it up to 2 parts ...............

if u think i should cut the even lower branch.......

1st pic shows 1 side of the lower branches with previous 4 & 5

2nd pic shows 1st pic in closer but doesnt show the branch connecting to main stem

3rd pic shows branch to main stem

4th shows zoom & where i cut (blue goes in the ground)

5th pics show wat i have to do (orange shows the leaf not showing in the picture but also i HAVE to cut)

OR

6th pic shows the same pic but more stem is put into ground (red shows the cut which ill also do on the other side)

.......

i also read that cutting areas to give light to lower areas which dont get as much light should be factored into this (which means the PREVIOUS 4 & 5 branch should be cut)

im sorry if this is a little confusing but its my 1st time n i dont have any branches to spare

The most important change that I made to cloning that pushed my success rate through the roof was to add a seedling heat mat under the cloning tray. I was also cloning directly into soil and after much trial and error (and tons of reading) I found that keeping the bottom of the clones at about 85F was the ticket. There are tons of different cloning techniques to try, you will do well to use a humidity dome (or similar) and the heat mat. Good luck with your cloning.

You could wait until there are more clones available on the plant so you don't have to put a gun in your ear to get results. When I first started learning to clone there was a lot of death. The more I cloned (and read) the better I got. You may be over thinking this. Start with a healthy plant and take the best branch (as long as it isn't the main cola) and get your hands dirty. That is the only way to learn. You understand the basics - try to make it happen. The worst that can happen is you have to try again & again until you can do it with great success. I use rooting gel and it works well for me.

As stated above the root zone is very important IE: keep temps consistent this will aid in root production. Also the strain you are cloning will determen the time it takes for the roots to forum.

oh yes i am waiting for my plant to get more n heal im just asking questions like 2 weeks in advance

ye i read a lot to where its all repetitions i couldve just went n tried it but i also need some reassurance and any xtra info i can get

n i got root powder n gel(growfaq stated gel is prefered)[powder=stim root][gel=wilson's root]

n ive decided to go snip-soak(5-10 min)-scarfy-gel-into moist soil then spray leaves

yeah, 2 weeks to get some more growth is your best bet...
also, Little Tommy isn't offering bad advice, but i disagree with saying cloning is difficult. having had 90%+ success rates it has made me wonder why people find it so hard. when i was a kid my mom would cut branches off her house plants all the time to make new ones for her friends and such... seemed easy then, seems easy now... cut a branch, stick it in dirt, water, and wait till it grows... simple... imo...

**** lol ive been a lil sick lately n i woke up in the middle of my sick naps n thought i was late for their sleep time ( i mistook am for pm)

so my plants had 6 hours dark 6hrs light then 5 hrs dark again lol i know theres nothing i can do or isnt tooooo serious but anyone know the sign of stress by doing this?(drooping etc.)also my plant has shown a lot of preflower pistils n wonder if it could initiate the flowering process( ive seen pics of veg plants switching back n forth to flowering n veg (does not look good)(i know mine wouldnt be as bad as i saw)

Nothing to be done now. Plants are more tolerant of light changes during veg. One time isn't going to change much. The stress would show up during flower more likely.
