Okay so I decided it would be best to just top the chronic lights, since where I supercroped the stem broke vertically and I could see right thru, but maybe it was a bad idea... Should I put it in the dark and maybe chop the bottom nodes off? I didn't want to because I figured they would grow into nice colas.. I made a humidity dome... And used rooting gel... What can I do to insure she survives? What nutes promote root growth? Is it normal for leaves to slope and curl a bit? I hope it recovers I really didn't want to do the main top but figured it would be for the best... And another grower advised me to! At least if she make20160928_125613.jpg s it I can leave the mother plant in flower and keep the clone in veg!

pretty much everything Gary said. i myself would put it in a rapid rooter instead of soil, but soil will work. some of those leaves will die before it takes root, but it looks pretty healthy right now, treat it right and you have a good shot

Make sure you have some drainage holes in the bottom. If you already do, you should poke more holes. That soil looks soggy and muddy. You can also use a gallon size freezer bag as a humidity dome.

Lastly, It looks like you're outdoors... I would get that thing inside asap and under a small cfl or house led. Clones do not need a lot of light.

Good luck
i applaud you . some advice and not a bash . well done . how does it feel to contribute ?

Alrighty thanks for the advice I got her under CFLs now also its in a rapid rooter but I had to use the muddy soil and some sand around here because I ran out of garden soil on my 5gal planter bags... Hope she takes root and pulls thru that would be great appreciate the prompt replies! Happy growing pray to the cannabis lords for me!

For future reference.... You didn't have to top her... I've split stem while super cropping..
A little tape or a couple twist ties should do it!! Keep her warm and moist!!

Update on my clone-
I think she is pulling thru sticking straight up now! That super thrive must've really gave it the kick it needed! I'm very proud, thought it was gonna be a letdown but this plant will be my new mother plant staying in veg so I can flower as many clones i need ahaha seems like a great idea and this was the main top so should grow into a killer bush! Also I was wondering if clones need a dark period, so that the roots can develop or if it'll be fine under 24hr lights! Really appreciate the advice about using a bag for a humidity dome! Great idea mate!{^.^} peace! Till next time brothas!1475189299716-88059474.jpg

Keep it 24/7 until it starts growing... keeps it from flowering... can't grow until it has roots.
