Don't know what category it really belongs in-- but I was curious about trying to move my 15 clones outdoors within the next couple of weeks. They are in clone tent with 24 hours of cfl at 95% humidity. They're only 5 days old right now.. but what I'm wondering i guess is can I move them outside in a couple of weeks and will they get with the program and grow into little kneehigh cuties? I figure they'd still have some time-- as they are jamaican pearl which is generally a late bloomer.

any insight would be sweet..!

If they are late bloomers you may get a little crop. go for it if you cant grow indoors.
If you can grow indoors, put them outside in pots for a few weeks and get your growroom set up.
Next year plan to move your clones outside no later than June 15
Good Luck and happy growing

do a search for the local almanac and check the light schedule for your area; if it's anything like ours on the west coast, you should be fine. light goes to exactly 12/12 in September, so till then, your little girls will be getting signs to prep for flower and will go into full cycle in Sep. should be ready to harvest in late october, or so.

I really wish people would stop perpetuating this bullshit about 12/12 being when plants flower outside. Marijuana naturally, and gradually begins to flower as the days become shorter, not abruptly when the light cycle is exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. Where I, and the majority of americans are at, it is near the end of the grow season, or after it that the light and dark times are equal. 12/12 IS A PURELY INDOOR TECHNIQUE AND HAS NO BUSINESS BEING MENTIONED IN AN OUTDOOR GROWING FORUM.

maybe i was unclear. they will preflower and start gearing up as 12/12 gets closer. they're really boom then.

don't hate man, this was the experience i had with an outside grow last year. she started thinking about flowering in late summer and really hit a stride in september; she was ready by oct.

I wasn't 'hating' bruh, I was just trying to stop your, and hinder others' spread of completely wrong information. They will preflower with age, they will start to flower as the days get shorter, often as soon as 15/9 if you want a day/night ratio. They won't really 'boom' at 12/12. They will be most of the way through flowering. 12/12 has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on outdoors growers.

BTW you said your plant was ready by october? Then unless you're in central or south america, then there's a good chance your buds were hanging in your closet by the time there was 12/12

hey thanks fellas! I had no idea I'd get so many responses at the mere mention of testicles, but am overjoyed!

nother thing I was wondering was whether to start adding bloom nutrients at first sign of flowering or what? I mean, all nutes come with directions that indicate flowering nutrients be added at 12 hr light... and having never added nutrients to an outdoor grow I am unsure when to start adding the next uns.

any idea?

oh and sensi seeds says they'll harvest on october first.. which seems kinda farfetched in ny.... and out of curiosity i looked up and found that the third week of september will bring on the 12:00 hour sunlight
