Clones wilting and dying once transplanted

Hello all.
I planted 70 cuttings in rockwool cubes and placed into two trays with domes under a T5 flouro light.I had good roots within two weeks and I transplanted into small pots with Prox mix Bx and irrigated with water PHed to 5.6 mixed with Velokelp (10ml/G) .They were placed about 6 ft away from a 1000 MH .Within hours most 60 out of 70 clones had wilted down and were dead/dying. Did I not condition them well enough while under a dome and in trays ( I took off the dome for 1/2 hour daily)??My temps in the tent with clones is 25 lights on and 20 lights off.I have them on a 18/6 cycle with my moms.
Any advice as to what I did wrong and how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Tough one without pics. Most likely it's your medium or temps too hot, mh gives off alot more heat than other type of light They normally need hardening before pottimg up but that's more for going outside. What's your feed and watering regime? How much, type and frequency etc

I always use flourescents until they are 8-10 inches tall. I don't like to waste the electricity over lighting them until they have some size to them. I would say save the 1000 watter until they are well rooted and better established.
