Clones under cfl's

I'm starting clones under cfl's, what temperature cfl's and what proximity to the clones for the ambient light?

5000k-6500k, and the distance depends a little on the wattage of the CFL, but, pretty much as close as you can get without them getting too hot.

What he said... You should be able to put a 26w(100w equivalent) bout 3in over their heads and be fine... Use the daylight bulbs as they are closer to the higher spectrum u get with a MH

now that's what i'm talking bout.. lol Brings back memories of an unexpected visit 1 time and had to stash the babies.

That's what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure before I cook something. The last ones I did were under an 18" grow light, and did fine. But these CFL's are bright as hell compared to, and I wanted to make sure it wasn't too intense.
