And where's the water to be changed??? A word of advice for.... MAKING ....clones is keep ALL your equipment immaculately clean with anti bacterial wash formula ......this was a lesson I learned the hard way......

I'm sure you r familiar with the process but just in case here's how I do it..........I use rootriot cubes and some Clonex.....simply take your cutting from the mother try and get it straight into water after you make the cut..... then take the cutting(on a CLEAN SURFACE)make a diagonal cut below the nearest node leaving just enuff for it to be able to support it self when inserted into the cube......sorry the pod.....scrape a thin layer of skin from the long side of the stem make a half inch cut up the stem to allow the rooting gel to get a good hold of it and insert into your cube.....gently spray with water then place it into your dome.All the vents should remain closed for the first initial few days .....if you have a heat mate then great place that under your dome and keep a close eye on your clones NEVER allowing them to dry out.......after a week to 10 days you should start to c a root poking out here and their continue to water and watch in AMAZEMENT as the roots engulf your cube.....sorry your pod......this is how I do it and get around 80% success with using it.....best of luck and let us no how you get on...........

see it a easy peezy Cambium Engineering that all it is, teasing out rootlets from under the cannabis 'bark' .. so no special magic required at all, Honey is better that clonex crap, avoid the lemmings and don't feed your cuts, they have no roots to suck the nutes up, keep them warm 25c/77F, and the biggest mistake has to be the lighting, its a soft low light, you need the plants motor just ticking over, if no root nubs or rootlets by week 3 start over..
Best to flush the plant well before taking cuts this will dilute the (N) content in the plant ..and yeah stay clean use 10% bleach to clean the gear

THEIR SHOULD BE NO WATER UNDER ANY CLONES........unless I've missed something ........they should be misted when the plug looks a little dry.......apart from that no water.....like vostoc said you r trying to tease the roots out ......growth above the plug should b kept to a minimum....slightly trim the leaves so as all the energy is being used bellow.......have a look on you tube and you will see exactly how to proceed......

Lol. I always feed my plants and get em as green as possible to sustain them without roots...I never go past 14 days and get a 95%+ success rate.

I also bought these recently(didn't have any rr cubes)and noticed they had 2 trays......but I'm fkd if I no wot the outher tray is for......

you are correct! ..however to those new to cloning, inmost cases feeding clones is one way to get bacteria into the cambium area, any bacteria may well stop the root growing deal, so IMO better to starve the clone than give it bacteria at such a delicate time, feeding can easily be caught up later, but do start with well fed cuts
