Clones to Sog

Hey everyone I'm finishing up my first grow and was going to start making some clones for my next grow. This will be the first time I'm cloning and I have a couple questions.

1. From what I have been reading about SoG im supposed to put rooted clones straight into flower. So if the clones are 3-4 inches when you first start to clone will they have grown in height by the time they are rooted? Im planning on putting the clones into flower around 8 inches and Im not sure if Im supposed to "veg" them in the clone box until they reach that height or if I should pot them and then veg them till 8inches.

2. Should i transplant the clones into pots as im putting them into the flower box? or should I wait a few days.

Cool thanks a lot heres some pics of my first grow. THe pics were taken 2 weeks ago. 4 plants (1 Blackberry Kush, 1 Pre98 Bubba Kush, 2 Firecracker OG (Fire OG x Trainwreck))

I'm a noob, but to my understanding, the best thing to do is have a mother in permanent veg, take clones andveg for two weeks, then into flower, as they flower clone and veg again, do this continualy, every two weeks.after the point your first clones are harvested ect. You'll have a convayer belt effect giving you reliable steady bud every two weeks. Hope this helped.Red

hey yea thats what im trying to do at least a form of that method. My only thing is Im trying to figure out how early should I start trying to clone. Do they grow while the roots are still trying to form? and how long will it take from taking cuttings around 3-4 inches to get to clones that are 8-10 inches.
