Hey RIU....I have a cloner that i built out of 18 gallon sterlite tub and some pvc. From all the articles and threads i read this roots clones in about 10 days or so...well maybe im doing something wrong but theres no roots and its been 10 days...First time cloning so i wouldnt know what to loook for to know there on track.

Heres my cloner to the right and the mothers to the left, when i just started them. I hope someone can shed some light on this ...

Should i be covering those clones with small cups for humidity to build up? I dont know how to clone and people say its easy! Ive been patient and feel miss treated bc my clones wont root :( please help

Are those tiny little things mothers ? they look stunted themselves so the clones will be sick to. Give them the full 14 days usually required and if nothing start again bro with bigger thicker stemed mothers giving you bigger clones to work with (achieved with hid ) and make sure the water is about 75-80 in the bucket and ambient temp 80-90. Also you dont need bright lights for clones this to could be causing problems, just a small cfl for cloning.

The tiny things are my growing mothers but NOT the mother of the CLONES I currently have now...they are same strain but have not been cloned yet...still think i DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING yet...So only a small cfl for veg? or should i just rais the lights so they stretch?

I never had any luck with aero cloners.I tried many times. Maybe there just too advanced for a ghetto grower like me. I use peat pots and 2 liter soda bottles cut down and get roots within a week 100% of the time.
My friend has great success with his aero cloner though.
OP I know my fiend does not use nutes in his cloner.

ok so i changed the res out and checked the temp at 81 degrees and the top of the leaves look like shit IMHO... this batch of clones maybe on there way to R.I.P. shortly...it was my first batch ever so im not worried i just lost close to 2 weeks of veg life..

How long into flowering can you clone from a plant...?

How can I make my mothers grow fat for better clones? Do i keep cfl higher to stretch them?

Mothers are Aurora and White castle, Soil vs Hydro... Aurora is in the hydro bucket and White Castle in Organic Soil..

first thing is cuttings need only water, that gel is ok but not needed, and absolutely NO nutes. how can they take nutes if they dont have roots? leave em alone. humidity domes are not needed.

I have used the ezCloner for a couple years and have had about 99% successes. The rooting gel you used is just going to get spayed off quickly so I don't use it. I use GH rapid start and a little aqua shield in the water I highly reccomend the combo. And Get roots in about 6 days then ready to transfer in 12.
Also how long are you running the pump? I found that 15 on 15 off works the best for me. Took much longer when I had it on without a break.

Do not clone from flowering mothers, your clones will hate you. With water temps being 80+ some H2O2 may be good in the rez.

im running pump at 15 on 30 off so they do have time to rest. Well its in plain water now, no nutes no nothing just water and a drop of superthrive. Ill give it a few more days....plus if i did clone from a plant that was 1 week into 12/12...that may have affected there growth? Just want to prove this cloner works is all...So no dome?

Honey,Soil,Small box with dome,1 13w cfl, clones from 12/12 from seed plant before preflowers.Rooted under 7 days actually rooted 3-5 days but u get my drift.
No super cloners that don't work and after 7 days it goes right in the flowering room and vertical growth took off about day 10.Also the honey i used was crystallized
i just used the liquid part of it and it worked better than my cloning gel and powder.
