Clones in home made system

Ihave got a propergater, im thinking of turning it into something to get the roots going on 4 clones.The idea was to make the bottom into a reservoir, add a airstone and suspend my clones into the airated water.This means the bottom of the clones will be under water all the time.Could someone tell me if this would work.

i havnt made one yet or tried one. at this time i am using those peat pellet or pucks.
i found this thread a while back and thought it looked easy enough to make. good luck.

yea dude once i took a couple extra cuttings and didnt wanna throw them away so i put one in a 12 oz water bottle. I just put on clone there and put my tube from the air pump in the bottle. It rooted in about a week! I was surprised but that goes to show you that if you can root in dirt than water and oxygen should be wayyyyyy better
