Clones, epic sucess and failure

Took some clones did all the right things. Few leaves semi woody stems. Warm water, clonex gel, coco coir, perlite mix. Sprayed with nute water, no exposure to the air at all. They never wilted a bit. Then i was dumb and repot'ed them too soon after about 7 days. They wilted. The tips are black and dead and they look real dried out. Guessing they will be stunted for ever but I am trying nurse them. Planning to leave the next lot for 2 - 3 weeks. Will that be better? Whats my chances on the four i recked?

As long as some of the very small leaves are sticking straight up they'll make it. Mist them lightly but don't soak them. Give them a little extra water.

Patience is the key to cloning for me. I cut clones, scraped the ends, put them in gel, ran a cup of tap water put plastic wrap over the top and stuck the clones through the plastic wrap. I put them in indirect light and misted them twice a day and all but one lived. They had tiny roots showing at 7 days or so and decent roots at 2 weeks.
Some of them got pretty yellow for a little while, but they pulled through.
