clones (can you use germination station)

i have a question about clonning

if i used uncle bens topping technique
(top after second true node)
can i clone the top of the plant.
i want to clone the entire top as one clone. i want to flower it with the mother about 14 days after topping.

will this work?
can i put the clone in cloneing gell, then use anti wilt spray
place in rotorooter and put back in my 18/6 vegg tent under 400w mh.
or do i need some type of cloneing set up.
