Clones and light wattage

Quick question what wattage cfl would u guy s recommend I use on a little clone cabnet ... 18inch width X 23inch length X 15inch high ..... I’m currently using a little 5watt led globe but I feel I could get a bit faster striking with a daylight white cfl

Dnt have any t5 so can only do cfl or led globes
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Rooted clones can take more than 5 watts, during cloning they don’t really need anything.

I know but I mean wattage as they go into the cabnet after cutting

Same as adult just keep the light a little high for a day or two to not shock them. Golden rule of thumb you want 50 watts per square feet to flower.

Clones don't need much light at all until they start rooting. In fact less light is better than more for fresh cuttings.

Sorry my bad, I didn’t read right. They don’t need hardly any.

I have a small closet that I fit a 2' T12 shop light in, 2 bulbs at 20watts each, so 40 watts total and I can fit alot under it. So far i've had every clone taken ended up growing, the leaves can even touch the bulbs and wont harm them. If I were to use those cfl bulbs I would probably use 4 of the 9watt daylight bulbs.

I have a 45w CPL daylight in about the same area, and so far so good for seeds and cuttings. Put computer fan on top, lined with foil, and thermometer.

I remove the dome from led bulbs for performance boost.

I repeatedly heated up a box cutter to melt/cut the dome away here.

Selling that snatch? Again? Bet if you took a picture of your junk everyone would think you were at Arby’s.

I do my clones under a 20watt about 12-16" above. Like was said they need very little light until they are rooted.

nah, for growing in general, they're easy to work with and you can fit them in tight spaces while pumping out high or low amounts of watts

What are f series ? Any direction to a topic for that would be greatly appeciactted
