clone ripening

Just a quick question. Can clones be ripe in six weeks? Seems like some clones I know of have turned a nice yellow green and the whole plant is very heavy and buds are thick. Some hairs turned red. When I queeze the buds they are rock hard and then when I smell my fingers they smell like a skunk.
The clones are only a foot tall.
Can I get out the scissors? Thanks everybody! :blsmoke:

Your buds are at peak harvest when the 2/3rds of the hairs are amber in color. Got a pic?

Looking great!!! But those hairs look milky white. She isnt ready to go. She doesnt even have a 1/4 red hairs yet. But the wait will be worth it. FRom what I know the onset of red hairs happens quickly. So in a week things could be very different. Your in the home stretch, any time now. Just keep watching for the change. Good Work!

its a little hard to see in the picture. Yes clones will harvest faster. They are actually the same age as the parent plant. That means you have the advantage of a sexually mature plant when you flowered. That will give you or your plant I shoud say an advantage.

Stoner - your plants look great! If you haven't already, start flushing and no more nukes. The rule of thumb is no nutrients the last 2 weeks.

Also start checking your trichomes everyday - then just harvest when the color of the trichs, match the type of high you are looking for...

Check out the attached chart and pictures...

Unfortunately, you can't tell the color of the trichomes by just looking at the plant - you have to use a microscope - RadioShack.com - trust me, it's worth the $10.00 bucks!!! And they have them at your local Radio Shack too...

Oh yeah - and if your plants weighs a pound after harvest, you should get just about a 1/4 of that once it's day. So you may get close to your goal!
