hey guys. i have a problem. i have 12 clones. they have been in their humidity dome for 3 weeks. some have roots, but not that many. some have no roots at all. they all look healthy, with no wilting. so whats the problem? info, tips, comments, ways to fix it, anything. strain is white widow. they are under a 42w cfl. i used rooting gel and they are in soilless mix. oh yea, they HAVE to survive. no other options. please help.

I hear the key to success is peat cubes, or jiffy pellets(something peat). I dunno if thats true b/c i have always used peat cubes. Its completely normal to get only a 50% success rate with clones. If they havent wilted then they can still root. Spray them with seaweed, this helps a TON with clones.

take the dome off... it's too humid seriously... once you do that and transplant they'll be growing like no other

If you take the dome off, do it in increments, you should have two vents in the dome. Open one half, then two half, then one whole etc etc. Then mist once there out, so they dont dry out. They have adapted to the high humidity, so you need to harden them off.

if you want to baby your plants then yea... but its not like this shit doesn't grow in the wild... it'll be fine... if not weak genetics and ou probably wont like the outcome of the weed anyway... i've cloned white widow successfully and all i did way put some rooting hormone on it, give it indirect snlight and watered it every 2-3 days and it sprouted... dont make it ore complicated than it needs to be.. nature wil run it's course

god bless all of you for your replies. im going to take the dome off hopefully that will help. man i really need them to survive. this has been an odessy and it would SUCK to have to start from seed again. have any off you had this happen. meaning the clones look healthy but they are taking forever to root. one of them looked perfectly fine but i pulled it clean out and it had 2 tiny roots.not even an inch long. whats that about? again thanks for the tips. have me in your prayers tonight. I NEED GOOD VIBES. had a terrible fight with the lady. women, cant live without them and they cant pee standing up. i think thats from major league the movie. thanks.

Please mist often if you just snap off that dome. I dont want to hear about them falling over in a day or two. If they have little roots it means they are on there way to rooting. Good luck, lampshade.

hey man, you dont wanna go pulling them clones in and out of ur medium like a baboon! let em be, and if u pull em out, then redunk in ur clone gel. depending where you nipped ur clone(top growth, new and easier to establish or old growth, woody, slower to establish)from. i have consulted with bong and we say you clipped them from all around the plant, hence the different establishment rates. your fresher or young growth has more ability to produce the roots. i use 2 clear 31quart totes, i just throw away the lids n smack together(rim to rim) one on top of the other and have 4 26w cfl's above it. optimum temp inside dome is 80 degrees f and at least the same for humidity. i run like 90 for my humidity and 80 to 82 for temp. lift the top and spray in the morning, and first thing in the evening. keep the top o the dome misted (spray it). you gotta wait it out for the stragglers. i got 3 clones that have been chillin for a month, n they r starting to grow some white hairs. the clones can live on foilar feedin for quite a while. good luck!
