Clone problems please help

-Soaked peat pellets in slightly root stimmed ph balanced water at 6.5 (my water is about 170-200 ppm out the tap,i airstone it for a few days before using it cause our city uses chlorine.
-i spray them twice a day with reg tap water and make sure the peat is moist as well
-heat is roughly 72-76F with about a 90% rH in the rubbermaid.
-lighting with 4 T8 bulbs and everything is inside a tent

If they are on all the time, why?

I dont like the colored top blocking out the light.
I suggest to get rid of it and get a normal clear dome like the rest of the world uses.

You will never get roots doing that, never ever!!!! You take your cuts ,from a healthy mother, dip in root stim. the gel type is best for this type of cloning. Put in your peat puck thing that has been charged in a grow nute at 200 ppms. You spray the plant , misting it, right then, You might spray it the next day, then never spray it again. Unless it wilts when you take the dome off or when your training it to get the dome off, and then thats just a very slight mist, like one squirt from a sprayer. On the second day your taking the dome off to exchange air then replace after a few, on like day four your cracking the dome a little and keep it cracked. Check often like every few hours in the beginning to see if it wilts not I'll check it when I get up in the morning. You have to find the right size crack so it doesnt wilt but exchanges air and then you have to keep making the crack bigger till the plant can handle it. If it wilts then you might spray it one mist, and really no misting after day six. If your crack it and it wilts replace the dome till it isnt wilted anymore, then back to cracking it. This could be just a few hours. After day two you only spray the dome, not the plant. If you need to wet the peat puck then you spray the puck a couple of squirts to rehydrate it, not the plant. Never pull a plant out to check if you have roots, ever.

The deficiency looks like potassium to me. Thats a problem with your mother plant not the cut. You are dealt with what you have for the cut. Theres enough green there to get roots. Then you can start feeding it a low ppm.

If you didnt charge the peat pucks with a veg nute you can mix up a little in a sprayer and spray a few squirts on the peat puck now. Not more than 200 and I suggest that you do it at 150 instead, now that I think about it.

So basically after you charge the pucks with the low ppm nute take the dome (LID) off till they wilt or three hours which ever comes first then replace for two hours or they aint wilted anymore, then start cracking it. If they didnt wilt in the three hours you just need to replace the lid but its cracked and every two day the crack gets bigger and bigger. You have to those fuckers off that humidity. No fans blowing.

You have something on a heat mat getting crazy light then you have something under a pink lid getting crap for light.
I dont like that either.

The heat mat thing what the temp of those rock wool cubes. Pick one up and temp gun the bottom of it, it should be 72-74 degrees constant. if its too hot put a towel under the tray over the mat or something to get a constant temp. I myself one time just raised the tray up on blocks and inch or two till I had the right temp. The towel will just transfer the heat to the tray to the cubes anyways. You have to get creative if you want to get clones sometimes.


You have a temp controller for that heat mat?? If not get one.

Water less often...wait until they are almost dry. Spray the dome only and it should have moisture on the inside or temps are too low.
Another thing I noticed not long ago was...if I planted fresh cut clones (straight from plant to root powder to cubes) they would take 12-14 days most times, but if I let them sit in water for a few hours first they seem to root in about 10-12 days...so try soaking them for a few hours before planting in the plugs.
And if your tap water isn't deadly (150-200ppm is usually fine) there really is no need to worry about adjusting it to pH and all that.

Clones will often times start to use the nutrients from the leaves left to begin rooting. This will make those leaves fade and deteriorate. I usually look at this as a good sign, because typically with in a few days there are roots popping out of the plugs.

Its VERY common for clones to take 2ish weeks to root. I don't know how long you have been waiting but I see lots of people start to worry after only a few days for no reason.

every lid is clear dude i am doing what you suggest i gave them a very light dose of maxigrow at 175 ppm. I havent cracked the dome and i have been misting it too often i guess. LED i have kept on and off to keep a nice temp. I charged the pucks with Rapid Start from GH. and then sprayed a couple squirts into the peat once in a while to keep it moist. Mothers seemed healthy dude and show no signs of def. They were put into flower a couple nights ago.
