No, you can get them pretty small, especially if you've got some root stimulator.

just a 1/2" dip in clonex gel. i got a dome and heat pad goin for em. my temp in ther is 104 but hum is 55, how can i up the hum? thats what i need right?
they seem realy droopy but i dont know whats good or bad for the first few days of cloning..

55 humidity is fine. But a temp of 104 is way freaking HOT!!!! You do not want your plants to smoke until you have harvested them. A stable temp of 78-83 degrees seems to always work well for me.

I have found that the smaller clones have more success. Depending on what you mean by small. I usually take my clones at a legth of about 4"-5". A buddy of mine takes huge clones. About 10"-11". He does about 50%-60%, but when they take off, he has a pretty good sized plant already. Where as I have almost 100% success, but have smaller plants. The larger cuttings have more surface area to lose moisture. They are more succeptable to wilting and drying out. At least that is what I have found to be true.

I clone in the little Soil cubes with bottled water.. My clones are from 3-6 inches and I get about 90-95%+

I use rockwool cubes to clone also.. I always soak the cubes for a few minutes prior to them being used. All my clones start at 3"-7", dip in cloning gel and insert to rockwool then into the humidity dome. I would do bigger clones but humidity dome prevents it as it is small, but I can put about 20-25 clones in there at 3"-7". I notice roots normally within 2 weeks. Lights over the dome are just 2 40w T12 daylight bulbs that I run 24/0.

well my heating pad gets it way to hot, but i found that if i get it up to temp, then un plug it the temp drops to about 80. but my tep/hum gage broke and wont be able to get a new one for a day or two. but i think if i heat then let cool the inside atmosphere stays some what in reg. ok on the sizes then i cut about that 3-6". also was unshure about light times instinkt said 24 so thats cool. an my t5 has both grow and bloom spectrum bulbs. shud i keep them both in or just the grow and take the bloom bulb out?

also ditched the rockwool for the rapid rooter soil cube things. just easier, and all around beter to use.
